For over a decade, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo has been leading workshops and residencies from the United States to Australia. He has taught at The Miami Book Fair, the Woodford Folk Festival, Chico University, Virginia Tech, and at elementary, jr. high, and high schools nationwide. His unique approach teaches rhyme writing and performance through a rites of passage framework. Focusing equally on literacy and self confidence, 23 Skidoo teaches kids to put their thoughts into words and use them to change the world!
RHYMES OF PASSAGE is a flexible workshop for children and young adults, and it can be as short as an hour and as long as a week. In a safe and supportive environment, students learn to explore their creativity and reach beyond their comfort zone. The experience is transformative, allowing each participant to be seen and celebrated for their own unique voice.
