"LUCK"

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is on a not-so-secret mission...

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is a true believer in the power of stories and rhythm, and an awesome entertainer in the field of KID HOP. What is KID HOP you ask? That's where kids meet hip hop without compromising either one. This is accomplished through full respect for both the traditions of hip hop and the magical world of childhood.

After 13 years of national touring, rapping and producing with a positive hip hop band and 5 years as a loving father of a phenomenal daughter, 23 Skidoo combined 2 of his favorite things and created an album and stage show that brought funky beats and fresh rhymes to the youngsters, as well as bringing his wife and kid on the road and into the act.

As a producer, 23 Skidoo is a perfectionist hooked on mid 90s hip hop, but with a broad musical palate. He's lucky enough to live in Asheville NC, a town brimming with amazing musicians of every stripe who are always ready to throw down and collaborate on something cool. Due to this, the debut KID HOP album, "Easy", is a rollicking gumbo of sounds, bringing funk, bluegrass, reggae and classical together with classic breaks and club worthy drums. Then this landscape is lyrically populated by robots, aliens, dragons, mermaids, and flying fish, living side by side with positive party rhymes written to bump up both the volume and the self esteem.

In the short time since the debut of Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, it's been a wild ride. 2 tracks, "Luck" and "I Like Fruit", have hit #1 on XMRadio. Shows have been rocked for dancing crowds at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and the Smithsonian. A record deal has been signed with L.A. based Happiness records. And most importantly, thousands of kids have smiled while getting down on the dance floor!

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is stoked to have a solid team onstage. His singer and right hand man, MAHIRA, has golden melodies and dance steps for days. His DJ, MR. STRANGE, spins the platters that matter and adds some lyrical chatter. His wife, Brooke aka BOOTYSATTVA , sings like a bird and dances like a yoga teacher (which she is). And his daughter, Saki aka MC FIREWORKS can most definitely hold her own on the microphone.

Hip hop began as a force of positivity and a means of uplifting the community, and it still has every bit of that power. Stories are a great way to teach, and dancing just plain feels good. There's nothing better than a steady rocking dance party that the whole family can get down with, and Secret Agent 23 Skidoo strives to keep it interesting for every member of your tribe.
